Daniel started his career trading commodity futures in 1985 before migrating to financial futures, gold, and foreign exchange with the likes of Standard Chartered Futures, Man Financial, and FIMAT till the end of 2006.

He achieved early success during the stock market collapse of 1987. In 2012, he set up Traders Academy International (Singapore) Pte Ltd to take on speaking and coaching assignments.

Daniel is much sought-after in the speaking circuit in Asia, particularly in Greater China, South Korea, and South-East Asia. He is also an external speaker/trainer for the world’s largest futures exchange – The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group for Asia-Pacific.

In recent years, he is also active in the emerging space of digital assets. He is a director of two Singapore registered decentralized finance start-ups that have their base in South Korea.
